toot tooot!!!

So yesterday was a pretty darn good day! I did a little shopping with my girls and I did go to the book store but didn't see this one, until I got home and it was in my mailbox!!

 WOW! So excited to see this in print! So cool!

 Love the way they layed it out and everything!!

 Yep,I even posted it to Facebook!

I can't wait to get some other things done so I can send them in as well! Am I hooked? I think so! Not trying to toot my own horn but, I'm proud of myself!

Much better pictures! I kinda like this one!

I thought this triangle needed to be a shark!

Well the picture is better than the scan, but it was so cloudy and rainy yesterday it was  hard to get a really good one.

As you can tell my son never wants his picture taken. EVER. I was quick enough to get his eyes in this one. When he grows up his kids are gonna be like, "Dad, you have eyes! We can see them in this picture!" If I would've kept to my dreams of my youth, why I would be a fashion designer! I wonder what happened to all those fashions I drew out? I had tons of them! This was in highschool too! Well I may not be a fashion designer, but I am an artist and my family is the best creation I've ever made!

Valentines Day flowers. They are so pretty, to bad they won't last long. I can't wait till spring!

There has been alot of this going on. Lookin out the window watching the world go by. I made a scan of my new page in my journal, but I'm going to redo it. It looked blurry on here. So I'll do that tomorrow, just wanted to say "hey"!!!

So finally here is another journal page. I swear this winter is horrible for me! If there is something I can catch, I catch it! I was sick AGAIN this week! I cannot wait till spring to open some windows and let in some fresh air!

As you can tell a little in this photo she has a little sparkle going on. I used some glitter gel pens to jazz her up!

Sharing a "new" old photo

Just wanted to share a little boy I found at the antique store the other day. He's a very well dressed little fella isnt' he? It's a beautiful day here, 60 degrees! Where is winter? It's in Alaska at -65!!  It can stay there! Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

Uh sickness has been in this house forever it seems like! My husband was sick then me and Meagan then hubby again! So finally I can make a post! New journal page, you are not alone.

I like this eh, ok I guess.

I do like the background though. I took a white gel pen and "wrote" all over the background. What does it say? Not a darn thing I just made scribbles like I was writing.

I do like the flap as well. But I didn't plan on it reading as, you are not family! lol!

Why are cats so nosy!!?? This kitty is wherever I am. She will race me to the bathroom so I can turn the water on for her to get a drink! Like how she sits right in the middle of what I'm doing?

This page really just started out with me just bored and playing with color.

Acrylics just smeared and blended. Water color pencils and some stamps.

The blue is a tag I did with oil pastels. I needed some contrast and that blue just popped, so I cut it up and added it.

Does anyone else's work desk look like this? It's a mixture of a bunch of projects at once. There is some jewelry some new gel pens and it's a mess that I know where everything is! Hope you all have a great day and go make a mess and make something!!
