Just a little progress post. I love to see how it all comes together!

She is done on an oval canvas.

With acrylic paints,inktense pencils,India ink for the lettering and some charcoal for shading.

I just picked a font from my computer and typed out what  I wanted it to say. I was going to use carbon paper but couldn't find it in my sea of messiness, so I just drew it on.

The background is water soluble wax pastels.

New journal page I find last night. Actually now that I look at these pics on here they are a little blurry, guess I really need to wear my glasses more!

After making Christmas decor I needed some art with paint and messiness! 

I really just added layers of paint and stamps and stencils. 

I totally enjoyed myself ! I might just have to do some more today as we are snowed in!

Ready for a new life!

New journal page. Even though I'm not sure if I'm finished with it yet. I'll stare at it and ignore it for awhile and see. Around the edges I wrote ready for a new life. That's why he is in front of the chapter two, he's ready for it!

Journals to share!

Ok long time no post lol! Well the kids are back to school so now I'm in more of a routine of getting things done while they are gone. A few things to share with you today. One is a little drawing I did yesterday while waiting for my sister in law was in the doctors office. 

These two lovely ladies are the front of a little journal I'm making. BFF,s forever!

This one is also a bigger front cover too a journal I'm making as well. Love that crackle!

Layers and layers on here. I started with a fern stencil and now you really can't even see it. Torn book page heart, cause you know he only has one heart! The card is a copy of the original. I can't bear to use the real one because I might not find anymore of them lol! Do you do that too? Hoard things because you might not find them again !?

The inside of course.nit has watercolor paper, doodle paper, black card stock and brown card stock inside.

The front cover. Love the texture. That's why I don't worry so much about wrinkles in the paper.
