Always radiate sunshine
I started this painting with nothing in mind, just wanted to play with paint I guess.
It has layers of paint, inks, clear gesso do the ink stay put;),and more paint. Oh and some oil pastels which were fun to last with!
I did add some stencils here and there too.
Always radiate sunshine is what it says inside the circle. With white gel pen.
The dots are white paint.
Here she is. Really not completely happy with it. But she is finished.

Coral and teal SOC!
Ok here's my second week of SOC journal page. It turned out ok, I guess. Not really thrilled with this one, but hey it's ok!! I started out painting on the coral and let dry. I then scraped on some teal and some acrylic paint drips, which I love!
I dipped an old ribbon holder, the cardboard tube the ribbon comes on, in white paint and stamped it on the page. I then quickly with a wet brush blended out the outer edges. I used a stamp with stayzon ink. I really wasn't happy with it so I dripped more paint and squirted it with a squirt bottle to help it run. The intention was to cover it up, but after that I liked it so I left it:). I used the end of the paintbrush dipped in white paint for the dots.
I used a stencil with white paint then traced it with a Pitt pen. I used a white gel pen and black Pitt pen to trace and scribble around the stamped words. I wrote some of the words around the edge of the paper with gel pen and used a sewing pattern traced dipped in white paint to add some texture also. I used a little oil pastels here and there for shading. One was a little bluer than I wanted but oh well. I soooo appreciate and love all the wonderful comments you all left for me on my first page!!! Sending you hugs!! Off to look at some more artwork from everyone else, have a good weekend!!

SOC first post!!
First journal page for SOC! I have a few pages left to fill in this big journal so I decided to go ahead and use them for SOC! I started with some yellow watercolor on the page. I then added the aqua which turned a little more green because I forgot to seal the watercolor. Happy mistake I think.
I then added some drips of paint and used a squirt bottle to make it run more down the page. I added yellow paint through a feather stencil. After that dried I added the white dots with paint and traced the outline of the feather with a black pen. I then added the birds. I drew them on with a charcoal pencil and painted them in. They do have a bit of shimmer to them.
I added a stencil here and there with Stazon ink. I wrote "a little birdie told me" in the pink with a black pen. I hope you like it, now I' m off to go look and see what everyone else is doing!! Thanks for looking!

Strength
Here's a girl I've been working on lately. She is a charcoal drawing on watercolor paper. I used watercolors and acrylic paint with stencils. I also used some photo editing on her as well. Hope you like her. I just felt the word Strength went with her.
