I am who I am and that's all that I am. I love my family and friends. I love to make art, all kinds! My interests are here there and everywhere! I'm glad you stopped to visit me!

I have been doing some altered dominos lately and I have to say I love doing these! I guess because they are in a smaller scale, so not much space to fill up. I bought the dominos at an antique store this weekend along with some other stuff. What my husband calls junk I call treasure!

I love keys. I don't really know why. I do love the shape and and patina of them and I guess just the mystery of not knowing where they really went too. A door to a secret garden, which would be lovely to have, a secret box of treasures for only you to see. So... I guess I do know why! The weather is absolutely wonderful here! But of course it's gonna rain tomorrow and turn chillier. Boo!! I'm ready for pool weather!!!

Well I've not posted in awhile, we've been busy around here. One think I've learned is live life to the fullest because you never know when it's gonna change. We bought our son a four wheeler and obviously this is what he's been doing! Stay away from the pool is all I ask! I love my pool! I did manage to do a craft show though. This is one of the tutus I made. My girls are too big for these now but I still love making them! I did sell it too so that was good because there wasn't a big crowd at all. Sadly I didn't sell any of my pillows. Or as my son would call them" no no pillows". You have "no no" towels so we have " no no" pillows.

Well this is my husband, in the cold, fishing. He's in Alabama this week for a bass tournament and this is one of the fish he caught today! This is good! He won this tournament last year, I hope he wins this year as well!

MMMm, cake! Just wanted to share some pictures of a Birthday Cake Box that I made for a customer for her grandaughter that is turning ! I love making these. They are very time consuming but worth it!

They are made from a paper mache box and felt. They open up and are decorated on the inside. This one has vintage sheet music and ribbon for the bottom. Vintage sheet music, crepe paper and a copy of a vintage post card. Oh and some vintage buttons and flowers from a hat. I wanted it to look sweet pink and girly with just a touch of glitter ! I hope she likes it. I wanted her to be able to use it for all of her birthdays as she grows older. Well that's about it for today. have a good one everyone!

Well my husband leaves today for another fishing tournament. This is him and his partner last year when they won. Hopefully he'll win this year too! He'll be gone a week, so it's just me and the kids and of course the dogs! This picure of Zack I've had since he was a puppy, obviously, but it was so cute I'd thought I'd share. So hopefully this week will run smoothly and the kids won't drive me to crazy!!;) I've been working on a cake box for a customer. It's for her grandaughters first birthday. I'll post some pictures of that later when I get more finished. So everyone have a great day!

Dont these look yummy?! I had actually taken this picture this fall and forgot about it. These are some faux cinnamon rolls I made for a craft fair. They are made from muslin and some real cinnamon added in there as well so they even smell real!
This other lovely is a picture of my 10 year old. He was totally rocking this little fake mustache from the gumball machine! So funny! He really looks like his dad in this one!
