Busy, busy,busy!!

Well I have been so busy lately. Working on some of these cuffs for a craft fair next month. I just love love LOVE mop buttons. I'm always on the look out for them. I love the feel and texture of them and the way they look. They just give a little umph to whatever I'm working on. I think it's because they don't look like plastic ones. Ya know what I mean? I wanted to make some skinnier ones, wish that would work on my butt!! Ha! But anyways.. I wanted some skinnier ones so I used some webbing, the kind for handles for a bag if you were gonna make one. It's thicker and holds the shape of the cuff when wearing it. A little layering of lace and fabric and some tulle and a stamped image and of course the buttons!!! I used some sew on snaps for mine.

Plus the hubby has been gone since last Saturday for a fishing trip to Alabama. He better win, that's all I gotta say!! I'm going on a trip next time! Maybe to California to visit some family and maybe I'll find some California mop buttons!!
