Just some silly stuff!

Just wanted to share some pictures of when we went for a drive to the lake the other day. I really just wanted to go to get some pictures at sunset and to get out of the house for awhile. Me being silly! Hey if ya can't be silly sometimes and laugh at yourself what's the point!!? And since my finger was in my nose..I didn't find any gold either! LOL!! (have you ever heard of that? Are you digging for gold?)

Seems like I can only get a picture of Jordan when he is not looking.

The bridge that goes across the damn. Exciting stuff I know! But I thought it was a pretty pic!

And yes my husband thinks he can to the crane from the Karate Kid movie!! lol!! He just kills me!!

The color yellow..

Oh my goodness I want to thank everyone for their wonderful comments! Plus my new followers as well! I am so loving this, I get to see so much beautiful art from some wonderful people! This is my version of yellow. I started with some pastels in yellow and a little green and , really just smeared it on! I sprayed a fixative on it so it would stay. I then added some layers of acrylic paint and some stamps. I used some of my fav paint pens again!

I used some Mod Podge dimensional magic on the fish, the worm and the lemon. Kinda hard to tell in the pics though.

I added some snaps for my metal, oh I also used some metallic paints in the background too. These little snaps reminded me of life preservers. ;) I added some bits and pieces around the edges and added some charcoal pencil, really I use the sticks, I don't like the pencils very much, around the edges of the images.

I do love the way he turned out! I love yellow it's so sunny and cheery and I can't help but smile when I see it.

So the point of this one is to Just be you!!! So I'm gonna go look at all the other yellow art out there! Thanks for looking and hope you all have a great day!!

The world is full of magic..pink magic today!

Here's my pink page for the week! I believe the word is full of magic, don't you?

I layered with some watercolors, and them some layers of acrylics. I used a little sticker sheet for the dots. Layed it on and smeared some paint on it.

Then I used some stamps. I love these darn polka dots!

Then some vintage images and some paint pens. The wax is some crayon I melted on with a hot air gun. Oh I forgot I layered a few spots of a phone book first before I used the paints. I didn't want to put alot of wax on here it being a journal I didn't know how it would hold up with me working on the rest of it. I can't wait to go look at everyone elses! The color green

Ok so here's the next color for http://twinkletwinklelikeastar.blogspot.com challenge. Each week is a different color. Last week was blue and there was some wonderful artwork! I didn't comment on all of them because for some reason either my computer or blogger, I couldn't comment on them! So frustrating I wanted to tell everyone what wonderful art they made!
So here is mine. With a little citron thrown in! It is the second page in my journal.

I used a couple spots with some glued book pages. Layers of watercolors and some acrylics put on with an old i-tunes card. I used some stamps as well, all for the background. I used some vintage images as well as an old movie ticket stub from a couple of months ago.

Ok here's my cover for my journal for http://www.twinkletwinklelikeastar.blogspot.com for the color blue. I used water color paper with layers of blue watercolors sprinkled with a little salt to soak some up. Layers of stamps and images. A little charcoal pencil to add some depth and some paint pens as well. Lovin these paint pens! My new favorite thing I tell ya! But please enjoy my little collage for her number is up! lol! Silly I know! ;)

Well for starters today is my Birthday! I am really trying to be in an upbeat mood and really, it's just not working. Not because I'm another year older...I'm 29 forever baby!! Just teenager problems and boy does wear a person down. Anyways..on the something that will hopefully help my mood! I am going to make a journal from watercolor paper. I've been wanting to try one of these for awhile now and I think this is perfect! The first color is Blue and I already have ideas swimming around in my head!
