Your own sweet natural self

New journal page! I have been in Grandma mode for the past week and now I can finally have some art time!! Love my grand baby though!!

This one started out with pages glued to the page, but I'm pretty sure I've covered them up completely! I used dylusions ink spray. My new favorite thing I swear! I sprayed them and then sprayed some water and just let them run and blend.
After it was dry I used some modeling paste mixed with some yellow paint and used a polka dot stencil and a knife and spread it over the stencil. I just love the texture it adds.
I then used some India ink and just dribbled it at the top and let it run. Adding a spritz of water to help it along. I found the moon face online and made him a star with scraps of scrapbook paper and vintage stamps.
I added strips of vintage measuring tape as well.
I used a paint pen for the white dots and doodles at the top. I did add some watercolor here and there for shading as well as a water soluble graphite pencil. Some washi tape at the bottom and added a stamp. Tim Holtz I believe. Then this little line from a vintage book. Hope you like it! And on a side note here, I love how gloss heavy gel blends these inks! I put it on there and it just makes them pop!! Plus it's shiny! Just a thought!

Another wonderful piece.... and thanks for reminding me I have modelling paste - I haven't used it yet!

I love the colours and vibrancy of this piece so much.
