New journal page to share with you today! This one started out as a page of just left over paint from another page. Don't want to waste ANY paint! I added the pink and black border with paint. I found this lady along time ago and saved her . Never really used it till now. I drew her body from some paper and painted her up. The bottom of her dress is a piece of old measuring tape.
Her wings are scrapbook paper scraps. I doodled on those as well. The clock I printed out and painted it with wax water soluable pastels. I added the bingo card cirle and then a piece of baby wipe I have used and cut it out in a heart and found the words from an old book.
I added some detail to her hat and color with some blue water soluable pastels as well.
Love how she turned out!
I hope you all have a great day! Now I am off the eye doctor to "see" about my eyes! I wonder what they will tell me!?
I am who I am and that's all that I am. I love my family and friends. I love to make art, all kinds! My interests are here there and everywhere! I'm glad you stopped to visit me!

On another note...long finger nails and typing don't go together. Just sayin.

Your own sweet natural self

This one started out with pages glued to the page, but I'm pretty sure I've covered them up completely! I used dylusions ink spray. My new favorite thing I swear! I sprayed them and then sprayed some water and just let them run and blend.
After it was dry I used some modeling paste mixed with some yellow paint and used a polka dot stencil and a knife and spread it over the stencil. I just love the texture it adds.
I then used some India ink and just dribbled it at the top and let it run. Adding a spritz of water to help it along. I found the moon face online and made him a star with scraps of scrapbook paper and vintage stamps.
I added strips of vintage measuring tape as well.
I used a paint pen for the white dots and doodles at the top. I did add some watercolor here and there for shading as well as a water soluble graphite pencil. Some washi tape at the bottom and added a stamp. Tim Holtz I believe. Then this little line from a vintage book. Hope you like it! And on a side note here, I love how gloss heavy gel blends these inks! I put it on there and it just makes them pop!! Plus it's shiny! Just a thought!

New Orleans pics to share
The cathedral. Just beautiful. Except for the two half naked prego ladies we seen. Eww. I did like this guys fuzzy outfit!

My Aunt Dot with the horse. If she could take it home I think she would've!
The river and the bridge.
This guy was really cool to. He played his drum and some kids came up and started dancing and another musician came up and really, you just don't see that kind of freedom here.
Love this statue! This is my dads new girlfriend lol! I took a pic of him sitting and his leg and her lap!
Andrew Jackson, we are related to him. An uncle of mine did a genealogy thing and found that we are related on my grandmothers side. Cool.
Um yea, yummy!!!
I just thought this was a cool shot! Sorry so pic heavy but I do have a few more for another time!!
